For Xmas our family decided to get Chinese take out. Every so often we'll do that to eliminate the dish washing duties during the holidays and will attempt to try a different place. Since we did not dine in my experience was limited to just the front desk. Our order was set for pick up by 5pm. I arrived just before that and there were a stack of orders waiting to be picked up. I was assisted promptly and my order was waiting for me. The person who greeted me was very nice and informative. Asked if I needed any utensils, soy sauce, and hot sauce. Before leaving we double checked the order and everything was accounted for and ready to take off. Our order was an assorted variety of our favorite Chinese dishes with a couple of different options. The food was good to par. Overall the family was happy with their meal and I was happy that the pick up process was a breeze, especially during a holiday. Parking: small private lot VERDICT: One and done

My first time trying this year. It was one of the first places on my Google maps when I typed in Chinese food so I wanted to give it a go. It's very close to me. They gave you a lot of food for a simple price. Expect to pay about $15 here at minimum. The eggrolls are absolutely delicious and crunchy. I love the Mongolian beef so much and the steamed dumplings were 10 out of 10. They give you chili paste and ginger sauce on the side. The lady was very nice when I came here and it is a smaller size restaurant, but still there is a lot of seating and nice tables. And a very beautiful fish tank when you walk in front.

Food is always warm and delicious. The service is friendly and kind and helped us out with placing our baby in the seat. The vibe is chill but also upscale ish? Cool place. Like the food.

This restaurant is in a plaza and shares a parking lot with the other shops and restaurants. The parking can be limited when it gets super busy. From the outside, it can look a little outdated, but the inside of the restaurant is very modern and clean. Restrooms are also pretty clean. There were 4 parties ahead of us on a Sunday evening and we were seated within 15 minutes. The hostess at the front was very friendly and apologetic for the wait. Our server quickly took our drink and food orders. The food was great. We ordered the siu mai, har gow, calamari, Szechwan eggplant, trio pan fried noodles, garlic fried rice, and black bean chicken. The siu mai was amazing - we ate 3 orders in total. We also really enjoyed the eggplant and trio pan fried noodles. We thought that the calamari was lacking a little seasoning but was crispy. And I wished the garlic fried rice had a lot more garlic flavor; it got a little lost in everything that was in the garlic rice. Everything else was still tasty, just not a favorite.

I always enjoy eating here with my family and friends. Good service, ample parking, and the food and vibe are solid. This is more of a non-asian type of Chinese food which is tasty, but not very authentic. I don't mind it, but my Chinese buddies consider this westernized Chinese food. If you want the true stuff go the San Gabriel Valley. You can't go wrong with their eggplant, sautéed vegetables, Kung pao chicken, black pepper beef, steamed fish. There chow mein and chow fun are also legit.

Service was very quick and friendly. Our family had the dim sum platter, corn soup, fried rice, green beans and shaken beef and all the dishes tasted great. Very nice ambiance compared to your typical Chinese restaurant. The establishment had a great vibe and we will be back soon!

We pick up food the other night. I would have to say all dishes we got were good! My favorite was the eggplant in Szechuan sauce it was good! Their orange chicken was good too. What I liked most was they let us know with our order we got a large white rice. My wife liked their orange chicken. We definitely will be back to try more dishes! Until next time!

Got take out during our last trip to LA. The food was solid Chinese-American fare, which tasted pretty much like you expect it to taste. Nothing was particularly remarkable, though I did like the Mongolian BBQ. I felt the portions were on the small side and it was pretty expensive for the cost. Still, my young nephews love it and sometimes it's about what the kids want. Detailed review at https://www.marga.org/foodblog/2024/09/l-a-chow-chis-chinese-cuisine/

This review is a few weeks overdue. It was my first time dining in. And after the last attempt with no luck finding parking, we arrived a bit later this time, after much of the dinner crowd had left. But this restaurant stays busy, and after trying a number of dishes; both takeout and now dine-in, some of the best Chinese food I've had in a very long time. A bit pricey but worth the splurge.
